The new standard

Next-Gen GO10: built for what comes next

The newest GO device: 4G LTE Cat 1, a faster processor, remote commands, and on-board Bluetooth.

  • 4G LTE Cat 1 modem, reliable across borders
  • Remote commands, including immobilization
  • On-board Bluetooth relays small-asset tags

What it does

Everything the GO9 does, then further

The same plug-in install and the same MyGeotab, running on newer hardware.

The full tracking core

Live location, trip history, zone alerts, driver behavior scoring, and engine health.

A deeper, faster read

A next-generation processor with higher data fidelity means more from every mile.

I/O pins with names

Integrated pins monitor complex states such as PTO and driver seatbelt, mapped automatically to named MyGeotab diagnostics at install.

Remote commands

A secure command channel from MyGeotab, down to stopping an unauthorized start.

A gateway for small tools

Small-asset tags report through the vehicle, with no separate reader to buy.

Same Port, More Signal

Richer data into the same dashboards

More processing power on the same plug-in install, feeding the MyGeotab views your team already uses.

A closer look

The standard, on next-gen hardware

The same plug-in install and the same MyGeotab, now with a faster processor, LTE, remote commands, and Bluetooth built in.

The full tracking core

The same core tracking your team already runs, carried over to the new hardware unchanged.

A deeper, faster read

More readings per mile, so hard events and fault codes show up sharp instead of averaged away.

I/O pins with names

Integrated pins read states like PTO and seat belt, no separate I/O module to add on.

The IOX expansion port

Cameras, driver ID, and add-ons connect through the same port later, with no tracker swap.

A gateway for small tools

Bluetooth is built into the device, not a separate reader bolted on.

Plug-in install

Connects to the diagnostic port, auto-calibrates, and comes online in minutes.

The specifics

GO10 at a glance

4G LTE Cat 1 modem

Reliable connectivity, including across borders, so cross-country and cross-border routes stay on the map.

Next-generation processor

Higher data fidelity and faster processing for a deeper read on vehicle health and driving behavior.

Integrated I/O pins

Monitor complex vehicle states such as PTO and driver seatbelt, mapped to named diagnostics automatically at install.

Over-the-air updates

Firmware keeps improving after install, with no shop visit needed.

Same simple install

Plugs into the diagnostic port like every GO device, confirms with a beep, and appears in your database in minutes.

Plugged In, Reporting

One plug. All of this, live.

The GO10 starts reporting on its first drive: position second by second, engine and diagnostic data off the vehicle bus, and every harsh brake or hard corner scored by the on-board accelerometer. These are real MyGeotab widgets, pinned to the hardware they come from.

More than a dot on a map

What the GO10 does that the standard could not

Two capabilities move it past every GO device before it.

Remote immobilization

From MyGeotab you can send a secure command that prevents an unauthorized start, so a stolen or misused vehicle stays put while you respond.

Bluetooth relay built in

The GO10 reads nearby Geotab-compatible beacons and relays them without add-on hardware, turning every vehicle into a gateway for the tools it carries.

Rules set with you

We configure both with you and set the rules around who can trigger what, before anyone touches the button.

Richer vehicle data

Live engine health, mile by mile

The GO10 reads deeper vehicle data, so faults surface before they strand a route.

Plug-N-Play

Installed before the coffee is cold

The GO10 ships configured. Push it into the OBD-II port, watch the LEDs settle, and the vehicle is reporting — no installer, no lift, no downtime.

  • Plug-n-play at the same port the GO9 uses
  • Adapter harnesses cover non-standard ports
  • IOX port ready for cameras and add-ons later

Trip history

Play the whole day back

The next-generation processor keeps a denser trip record, so the replay runs smooth at 20x, with every stop numbered and driving, idling, and distance split out.

How we help you choose

Geotab GO9 vehicle tracking device

Choose the Next-Gen GO10 when

You are standardizing on the newest hardware: newer vehicles, cross-border routes, remote commands, and Bluetooth small-tool relay.

Geotab Next-Gen GO10 vehicle tracking device

Choose the GO9 when

Your fleet includes pre-2010s vehicles. The GO10 drops the legacy protocols, so for those units the GO9 is the honest pick.

Questions

The GO10, in plain terms

What is new in the Next-Gen GO10?

A 4G LTE Cat 1 modem for reliable connectivity across borders, a next-generation processor with higher data fidelity and faster processing, integrated input/output pins that monitor complex states such as PTO and driver seatbelt, remote commands from MyGeotab including vehicle immobilization on unauthorized use, and on-board Bluetooth that relays compatible beacons with no extra hardware. We will walk you through what it means for your fleet.

Is the GO10 compatible with my vehicles?

The GO10 supports a wide range of newer vehicles and is built for cross-border operation. It does not carry the older legacy engine protocols, so for pre-2010s vehicles we recommend the GO9 instead. We confirm the right device for each vehicle with you.

Can I shut a vehicle down remotely?

Yes. The GO10 executes remote commands from MyGeotab, including vehicle immobilization on unauthorized use. We will walk you through where that fits your policy, and where it does not, before anyone touches the button.

Does small tool tracking need extra hardware?

Not on the GO10. Its on-board Bluetooth detects and relays Geotab-compatible beacons on its own, so the vehicle itself becomes the gateway. See small tool tracking for how the tags work.
