A closer look

The Standard, on Next-Gen Hardware

One live map for the whole fleet - now on faster hardware, with wider coverage, remote commands, and Bluetooth built in.

The full tracking core

The same core tracking your team already runs, carried over to the new hardware unchanged.

A deeper, faster read

More readings per mile, so hard events and fault codes show up sharp instead of averaged away.

PTO and seat belt, built in

It reads states like PTO engaged and seat belt buckled straight from the vehicle, with no extra module to add.

Room to add on later

Cameras, driver ID, and add-ons connect through the same port later, with no tracker swap.

4G LTE Cat 1 bis

One modem that holds a connection across the US, Canada, and Mexico, so cross-border routes keep reporting.

Out of sight in the cab

Goes in behind the dash - the diagnostic port stays free for the shop.

What it does

Everything the Standard Does, Then Further

Every reading the standard tracker delivers, into the same maps and reports, on newer hardware.

The full tracking core

Live location, trip history, zone alerts, driver behavior scoring, and engine health.

A deeper, faster read

A next-generation processor captures more readings per mile, so hard events and fault codes come through sharp.

PTO and seat belt, built in

PTO engaged, seat belt buckled, and other equipment states arrive as named readings from the first trip, nothing to configure.

Remote commands

A secure command sent from your dashboard, down to stopping an unauthorized start.

Bluetooth sensor relay

External sensors on the vehicle, temperature and door state among them, report through the tracker itself with no extra reader to install.

Same Port, More Signal

Richer Data Into the Same Dashboards

More processing power feeding the MyGeotab views your team already uses.

Installed, Reporting

Live From the First Drive

The GO10 starts reporting on its first drive: position second by second, engine and diagnostic data off the vehicle bus, and every harsh brake or hard corner scored by the on-board accelerometer.

More than a dot on a map

What the GO10 Does That the Standard Could Not

Two capabilities put it ahead of every GO device before it.

Remote immobilization

One secure command from the office blocks an unauthorized start.

Bluetooth relay built in

The GO10 picks up tagged tools and sensors nearby and reports them, with no add-on hardware.

Rules set with you

We configure both with you and set the rules around who can trigger what.

Out Of Sight

Behind the Dash, Reporting in Minutes

The GO10 arrives configured for your vehicles and is in and running in minutes. Nothing on display, nothing for a driver to unplug - and if power is ever cut, you get an instant alert.

  • Behind the dash - the diagnostic port stays free for the shop
  • Its four extra inputs report by name from day one
  • IOX port ready for cameras and add-ons later

Trip history

The Whole Day, Replayed

A denser trip record, so the replay runs smooth at 20x with every stop numbered. Scrub to any minute for position and speed, or jump stop to stop to answer "how long were we there" without pulling a report.

Choose the Next-Gen GO10 When

You are standardizing on the newest hardware: newer vehicles, cross-border routes, remote commands, and Bluetooth relay.

Geotab GO9 vehicle tracking device

Choose the GO9 When

Your fleet includes pre-2010s vehicles: the GO9 still speaks the language those older engines use, so every unit reports the same trips, speeds, and faults as a new one.

Read the full comparison, or send us your vehicle list and we will split it for you, unit by unit.

Questions

The GO10, in Plain Terms

What is new in the Next-Gen GO10?

A cellular modem that holds signal across the US, Canada, and Mexico (4G LTE Cat 1 bis), a faster processor that catches more detail per mile, built-in inputs that read states like PTO and seat belt, remote commands from your dashboard including immobilization, and on-board Bluetooth that picks up tagged tools and sensors with no extra hardware.

Is the GO10 compatible with my vehicles?

The GO10 supports a wide range of newer vehicles and is built for cross-border operation. For pre-2010s vehicles we pair you with the GO9, which reads the legacy engine protocols those trucks use. We confirm the right device for each vehicle with you.

Can I shut a vehicle down remotely?

Yes. The GO10 executes remote commands from MyGeotab, including vehicle immobilization on unauthorized use. We will walk you through where that fits your policy, and where it does not, before anyone touches the button.

Does small tool tracking need extra hardware?

Not on the GO10. Its on-board Bluetooth detects and relays Geotab-compatible beacons on its own, so the vehicle itself becomes the gateway. See small tool tracking for how the tags work.
