A closer look

Sealed for the Work That Breaks Hardware

Sealed against everything

A waterproof, dustproof, shock-resistant housing takes pressure washing, mud, and constant vibration.

Fixed where you mount it

It goes on machines that have nowhere to plug a tracker in, and it stays put for good.

Reads the machine itself

Faults and run-time come straight from the equipment, not from a manual log.

Powered off the machine

It wires into the equipment's own power, so it reports for the long haul, on-road or off.

Alive on the same map

Yellow iron and trailers show up beside your trucks on one live map.

Iron That Reports In

Hours, Faults, and Location, Site to Site

Logged from the machine and carried across every move: utilization, hours-based service, and time on site all draw on the same record, wherever the unit works. Nothing re-enrolls when a machine changes yards; the history rides with the unit.

Why GO Rugged

What Your Iron Does, Hour by Hour

Engine hours, automatically

Real engine hours land automatically, so service intervals and utilization run on the machine's own count.

Location across every site

Yards, jobs, and everything in between, with geofence alerts on movement.

Utilization insight

See which machines earn and which ones sit, before you rent another one.

Fault and health signals

Catch issues early and protect uptime on your highest-value assets.

Theft deterrence

After-hours movement triggers instant alerts.

Built for Harsh Environments

Sealed, Hardened, and Installed Right

A sealed build, wired to your machine because iron has no port to plug into, and reporting from the moment it powers up.

Sealed Connectors

Locking harness seals stand up to pressure-washing and weather.

Weatherproof Harnesses

Matched to your equipment before install.

Auto-calibrates on Power-up

Uptime & Health

Fault Codes and Hours-Based Reminders From the Machine

GO Rugged reads diagnostics straight off the equipment, and reminders fire on real engine hours, so a warning becomes planned service instead of a machine stranded at the far end of the site.

  • Fault codes as they happen, streamed the moment the machine flags them.
  • Triage from the office, so a supervisor clears or schedules a fault without driving out.
  • Usage-based reminders trigger on hours run, not a date someone guessed.
  • One history per asset: reminders, work done, and faults beside location.

The Payback

Idle Burn, Fuel, and Hours Beside the On-Road Fleet

Savings, fuel, and stop-time roll up from every machine wearing a GO Rugged, in the same reports your on-road fleet already uses. Idle burn, fuel by unit, and hours by site line up beside the trucks: one report for the whole operation.

Live Scene

The Whole Site, on the Record

Haul trucks, loaders, dozers, and excavators - every machine on site reporting hours, faults, and position while the shift runs.

Beyond the cell network

When the Job Outruns Coverage, Keep Reporting

GO Rugged does not stop at location: satellite, panic buttons, and temperature all plug into it.

Satellite communication

A satellite add-on (IOX-SATIRDv2) keeps the machine reporting past the edge of cellular.

Driver-initiated alert

A physical panic button (IOX-ALERT) for the operator working alone.

Cold chain on trailers

A rugged temperature add-on (IOX-COLD) puts reefer trailers on the map, with readings for up to 3 zones.

One device family, one platform. The add-ons bolt onto what is already installed, which is why oil and gas fleets run GO Rugged past the last bar of signal.

Add-ons in practice

Add a Camera Without Adding a System

A camera plugs into the tracker already on the machine - nothing new to log into.

Who runs it

The Industries That Work Where the Pavement Ends

Standard trackers die in these environments. GO Rugged is sealed for them and reports through them.

01
Construction

Excavators, dozers, and loaders, site to site.

02
Oil and gas

Pump trucks and generators on remote pads.

03
Agriculture

Tractors, sprayers, and harvesters in the field.

04
Utilities

Bucket trucks, digger derricks, and gensets in the territory.

05
Mining and aggregates

Haul trucks and crushers in the pit.

06
Government and public works

Graders, sweepers, and loaders in DOT yards.

Beyond Location

The Bed, the PTO, and the Aux Inputs, All on the Record

GO Rugged reads the machine, not just the map pin. Dump cycles, PTO hours, and after-hours movement come straight off the equipment, each one counted for you: cycles per shift, PTO time per job, and an alert the moment a parked machine moves.

Questions

Heavy-duty Tracking FAQ

What makes GO Rugged different?

It is a sealed, IP68 and IP69K rated device built for off-road equipment and harsh sites where a standard device would not survive.

Can it track engine hours on equipment?

Yes. Engine hours and usage feed maintenance schedules so heavy assets get serviced on real use.

Does it work with the rest of my fleet?

Yes. GO Rugged reports onto the same map and into the same reports as your trucks and trailers.

Will pressure washing kill it?

No. It is rated for exactly that: high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns. Wash the machine like you mean it.

What about equipment that sits in the yard for months with no power?

Different device, same map: non-powered assets get a battery-powered GO Anywhere, the running iron gets GO Rugged, both on one screen. The yard walk happens from the office.

Can it report from sites with no cell coverage?

Two ways. On its own, the device stores data and sends it when coverage returns. For operations that cannot wait, a satellite add-on (IOX-SATIRDv2) carries critical data when no tower is in range.

My equipment is 24V. Is that a problem?

No. GO Rugged installs on 12V and 24V equipment with the approved weatherproof harness for your machine, and we confirm the exact harness by make and model before it ships.

“We are tracking a little over three-thousand assets; from pickups to off-road equipment, trailers, generators, compressors. Each type requires different reporting metrics. All our reports, dashboards and live alerts are personalized and formatted according to asset type and each of our users’ independent needs. This has been a game changer!”
