The premium tracker in the family

GO Anywhere Plus: for assets that deserve more than a dot on a map

Wire it to the asset's power and it stops being a location pin and starts being an operations record.

Utilization, not just location

Wired in, it reports distance traveled, engine hours, and ignition state. "Where is it" becomes "is it earning," and the hours feed real service schedules.

Reports past the coverage line

Global 4G LTE (CAT1 bis) with Starlink Direct-to-Cell satellite connectivity, so assets keep reporting beyond cellular. Built for wellsite asset tracking for oil and gas and long rural hauls.

A more precise fix

Dual-band GNSS, plus Bluetooth that reads external sensors and acts as a gateway for small-asset tags.

Never blind on a power loss

A 5,400 mAh field-replaceable backup battery. Rated IP67 and IP69K, operating from -40 to +85 C.

Trailers, generators, light towers, heavy attachments with a power source: this is their tracker.

A closer look

Built to survive where the power ends

GO Anywhere is a sealed, self-powered tracker for the trailers, generators, and equipment that never see a wiring harness.

No wiring, no upkeep

A sealed internal battery powers it for years with nothing to charge, swap, or maintain once it is attached.

Sealed against the yard

A rugged, weatherproof housing shrugs off dust, water, heat, cold, and constant vibration.

Reports on your schedule

Set how often it checks in, so nothing sits unaccounted for between jobs and seasons.

Moves it should not make

Geofence and after-hours alerts flag an asset leaving the yard before it becomes a theft report.

Found when it walks off

Location history turns a stolen trailer or generator into a recovery, not a write-off.

One map for the whole fleet

Powered vehicles and self-powered assets sit on the same MyGeotab map, not two logins.

Real Outcomes

What changes when every asset stays on the map

  • Trailers and containers always accounted for
  • Faster recovery of stolen equipment
  • Less rental spend on assets you already own
  • Utilization insight to right-size the fleet you own
  • Dwell-time alerts flag assets sitting idle too long
"This has provided new insight into asset utilization, fleet waste, and has dramatically improved employee safety. Truly unbelievable."
Waldinger Corporation, Des Moines, IA

Theft Recovery When It Counts

When an asset moves, tracking speeds up

If an asset moves unexpectedly, the tracker shifts to high-frequency updates to help you recover it, then returns to normal to save battery.

  • Unexpected-movement alerts trigger on their own
  • High-frequency mode delivers rapid location updates
  • Returns to normal automatically to preserve battery

One recovered trailer can pay for the whole fleet's trackers.

Battery honesty

Four reporting modes, one honest trade

Visibility versus battery. You choose how each tracker spends it, per asset, in MyGeotab.

Time-based

A fixed check-in every 8, 12, 24, or 48 hours, whether the asset moves or not. The yard-inventory mode.

Movement-based, delayed

The tracker logs trips as they happen and uploads the day's activity once per day. Maximum battery, full history.

Movement-based, immediate

Motion is reported in near real time, start and stop. For assets where "it just left" is the alert that matters.

High Frequency

On GO Anywhere Plus only: updates every 15 minutes while moving, and the mode shuts itself off after 72 hours so a stressed week cannot drain the battery.

Nobody becomes a battery accountant. We set the modes with you at rollout, asset class by asset class. The base GO Anywhere is configurable for time-based or movement-based check-ins to balance visibility against battery life.

The Whole List, Live

Every asset on one live table

One sortable table with each asset's last report time, battery status, movement state, and current geofence or zone, for trucks, trailers, and iron in a single view.

Where it earns its keep

The operations that lose the most to missing assets

Construction

Trailers, generators, and attachments tracked across active job sites and the yard between them.

Oil and gas

Wellsite and remote equipment spread across sites far from the yard, on the same map as the crew trucks.

Utilities

Transformers, spools, and pole trailers staged across a wide service territory.

Agriculture

Implements and portable equipment that move between fields and storage by season.

Equipment rental

Know what is on-rent, what is idle, and where every unit sits before you buy another.

Government and municipal

NDAA and TAA compliant trackers for public fleets, yards, and shared equipment pools.

Small asset tracking

The small stuff rides along with the trucks that carry it

Bluetooth tags go on drills, saws, job boxes, and anything else that walks away, stuck on with adhesive or a zip tie.

  • No per-tag cellular contract: tags are read by gateways you already run, a GO device, a GO Focus camera, or a GO Anywhere Plus.
  • The truck scans its own inventory when the ignition turns on, checking what is aboard automatically.
  • Separation alerts flag the tool left at the site before you are twenty miles away.
  • Proven tags, scoped for you: third-party Bluetooth beacons from Geotab's Marketplace, matched to your gear.

What to tag

The assets worth putting on the map

No power, no problem. Sealed battery trackers cover the untracked half of your operation, whatever shape it takes.

Trailers and containers

High-theft targets that sit unpowered for weeks between jobs.

Generators and light towers

Portable power that walks off site and is expensive to replace.

Attachments and implements

Buckets, augers, and hydraulics that get separated from the machine.

Scissor lifts and yard equipment

Ground equipment you would otherwise count by walking the lot.

Spare and seasonal assets

Gear that disappears into a back lot until someone needs it fast.

Tools and small equipment

Bluetooth tags read by the GO-equipped trucks that carry them.

Questions

Asset tracking FAQ

How long does the battery really last?

Straight answer, per product: the battery-only GO Anywhere runs up to 3 to 5 years depending on how often you have it report. GO Anywhere Plus runs up to 5 years on battery, longer when wired to the asset's power, and its battery is field-replaceable. If someone quotes you ten years on these exact units, they are quoting a different product.

Which tracker goes on which asset?

Powered or high-value assets that justify utilization data: GO Anywhere Plus, wired. Non-powered assets that live outdoors (containers, dumpsters, spare trailers): GO Anywhere. Tools and small equipment: Bluetooth tags read by your existing vehicles. We map this with you against your actual asset list, not a brochure.

What does the satellite connection actually do?

On GO Anywhere Plus, Starlink Direct-to-Cell satellite connectivity picks up where cellular ends, so a tracker in a coverage hole keeps reporting instead of going dark and catching up later. For remote sites and long rural hauls, it removes the "no data since Tuesday" problem.

Is this government-procurement friendly?

The base GO Anywhere is NDAA and TAA compliant, and GO Anywhere is available on Geotab's Sourcewell cooperative contract 102924-GEO (valid through April 2029). For compliance questions about GO Anywhere Plus on a specific bid, ask us for a current answer.

Is it worth tagging lower-value assets?

Yes. The per-asset price is low enough to tag hundreds of trailers, containers, and job boxes, not just your most expensive gear, so nothing falls off the map for being cheap.

What can I track?

Anything unpowered. The what-to-tag section above has the full list, and it all lands on the same map as your vehicles.

Does it help recover stolen assets?

Yes. Live location and movement alerts help you find and recover assets quickly.
