Updated mobile experience and flexible location sharing with custom expirations.
These become the default view in July - get ready for the switch!
Introducing IOX-Keybox: Simplifying Keyless Shared Fleets
The new IOX-Keybox hardware makes shared vehicle access seamless and secure.
Key Benefits:
Easy installation: Place the physical key inside - no soldering needed.
Protects keys from damage while allowing traditional starts.
Sensors ensure keys are returned before relocking.
Now fully available in North America and Europe.
Keyless Lite Goes Multilingual
Keyless Lite now supports Spanish (Spain), French (France), Italian, German, and Dutch.
Fully localized for drivers using Geotab Drive in these languages.
Live for all users starting July-great for global teams!
Video Snapshots: A Smarter Way to Capture Events
Save data with video snapshots for exception rules instead of full videos.
Ideal for low-bandwidth areas; pairs with Order Now cameras.
Opt for photos or videos directly in MyGeotab.
Rolling out progressively from mid-June - enable in your rules settings.
Revamped Fault Diagnostics (Beta)
Get actionable insights into vehicle health with the updated Faults (Beta) page.
Key Features:
Severity column for OBD2 vehicles (US/Canada focus) on urgency and impacts.
Partnered with Noregon for J1939 vehicles' fault context.
Access via the banner on your Faults page - available to all in beta.
Streamlined Access: MyPreview Moves to MyGeotab
Merging preview environments into MyGeotab for simpler beta testing.
Action Required:
Update bookmarks and integrations to my.geotab.com.
EU data handled on regional servers.
Migration starts late June and continues through July.
Geotab Ace Gets Smarter and More Secure
Improvements to Geotab Ace enhance usability and security.
Updates:
Better time zone alignment with local settings.
Refined data access based on user permissions.
Task assignment now open to non-admins.
These make Ace more reliable for multi-region ops.
