1.) Locate the Port
Find the vehicle’s OBD-II port, typically located beneath the dashboard or steering column. For heavy-duty or specialized vehicles, use the Geotab harness adapter to connect to the diagnostic port.
2.) Connect the Device
Firmly plug the GO9 into the port (or harness connector) until secure. A snug fit ensures proper power and communication. The device powers on automatically - no tools, wire cutting, or configuration needed.
3.) Verify the Indicators
Watch for LED and audio notifications confirming the device has powered, established communication, and begun transmitting data. Once the lights show solid connectivity, the GO9 is active and ready for assignment.
